Elizabeth York has been playing harps at weddings and other events since 1993, now mostly using her elegant antique gilded pedal harp, but alternatively sometimes her smaller celtic harp, or her stunning blue electro-harp. (Photos are shown of all three harps.) The choice of harp may depend on your venue, your choice of music, or just which sound or look you happen to prefer.
It is often possible for her to add one or two new pieces to her repertoire for an occasion, either from music or by ear from a recording. Elizabeth also improvises when appropriate enabling her to tailor the music to suit the timing of the occasion.
Harp music is excellent for many stages of a wedding or other ceremonial day. You can choose to have Elizabeth play the harp at any or all of these stages of the day:
The ceremony - while the guests assemble, for the entry, during the signing of the register and for the exit . Background music during the drinks reception, during the line up, and/or for the meal.
Elizabeth also offers a varied selection of background music for drinks receptions, dinners and corporate occasions.

Playing Times |

Elizabeth is very flexible to the playing times required. These are some of the more popular playing times:
- Ceremony - 45 minutes for civil ceremony or 90 minutes for church wedding
- Drinks Receptions - 1-x 60 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes
- Wedding Breakfast/Dinners - 2 x 60 minutes
Any combination of the above can be booked. Please state your preference on the enquiry form.
